Sprite
These showers filters are made to the highest standards, using premium materials to ensure that the shower filter that you buy, when you buy a Sprite shower filter, meets and exceeds your expectations. Shower filters are used to dechlorinate the water that you shower in. This is done by transforming the chlorine to harmless chloride. This transformation occurs through the use of KDF media, which is atomized brass. In addition to the KDF media that is used in all the shower filters, Sprite also uses the media Chlorgon in its filter to make sure that the water you shower in has had the largest possible amount of chlorine eradicated from it. In addition to eradicating chlorine, the shower filters also filter out odors, iron oxide, dirt, hydrogen sulfide and sediment as well as other undesirable particulates. The filtration media is contained within a filtration cartridge which is easily replaceable and this elongates the life of the shower filter. The reason that activated carbon is used in water filters but not used in shower filters is the fact that the hot water that you shower in renders the carbon ineffective at higher temperatures, but KDF media increases in effectiveness as the temperature of the water being filtered rises.
