SWT-500-UV UltraBiolyte Countertop UV Water Sterilizer Protect your drinking water from bacteria, mold and other harmful microorganisms with UV technology! (SWT-500-UV) The UltraBiolyte Countertop Ultraviolet and Filtration unit will remove completely or reduce significantly the following contaminants from water: Bacteria, EDB’s, PCB’s, TCE’s, Chlorine, Lead, Sediment, THM’s, Coliform bacteria, Organics, TCBs, Viruses - and over 50 other chemical compounds and pesticides that appear of the EPA’s Primary Health Related Contaminants lists for drinking water. The UltraBiolyte™ counter top ultraviolet purifier is designed to be both portable and cost efficient. It features a three stage filtration system. First the water is filtered through a 20 micron pre-filter to filter out any sediment in the water. Next, the water passes through a 1 micron compressed block of activated carbon to remove chlorine, taste, odor, and chemical impurities from the water. The water then enters a stainless steel disinfecting chamber where it is exposed to high levels of ultraviolet light which attacks harmful microorganisms, bacteria, viruses and sterilizes them. This process of purification works without chemicals and leaves no risidual in the water supply. It is also more cost efficient than traditional methods of water sterillization, i.e. chlorinating, distilling or boiling. Ultraviolet irradiation is now accepted by both the EPA and the FDA as a safe, effective method of bacteria control. This point-of-use unit is easy to install, operate and maintain. Simply plug the unit in and it’s fully operational! The blue glow illuminating from the port on top of the unit provides a consistent reminder that the unit is working. Because the bulb is running at a constant, optimal level, with no switches to turn on, there is no waiting for purified water. The 12 volt design plugs into any standard household outlet, and is ideal for campers and boats also. UltraBiolyte Under Counter UV Water Sterilizer
The space-saving design of The UltraBiolyte™ under-counter ultraviolet water purifier includes three stages of filtration for sterilized, bacteria-free water. First, the water enters through a 5 micron pre-filter to remove any sediment in the water. Next, the water passes through a 1 micron heavy metal/cyst reduction carbon block cartridge that removes heavy metals (i.e.; lead, mercury, copper) and cysts (i.e.; crypto, giardia cysts) as well as chlorine, taste, odors, and chemical impurities from the water. The water then enters a stainless steel disinfecting chamber where it is exposed to high levels of ultraviolet light which attacks harmful microorganisms, bacteria, viruses and sterilizes them.
